We are working on a range of buildings and scenery to compliment our growing ancient Chinese miniature range. The buildings are currently designed for 25-28mm miniatures but we are heavily contemplating creating 15mm versions as well. Since they are digitally designed it will be relatively easy to resize the buildings but deciding if the additional manufacturing, packaging and storage costs warrants the production is another conversation. Right now we have two different styles of houses, lanterns, a gazebo, and high walls with a moon gate designed. We are planning more for the first wave of products so stay tuned.
The roof for both of the houses is the same but the walls will come in four pieces and it will allow you to combine the walls to make different looking homes. We will continue to investigate this interchangeable system and see how far we can take it to make your battlefields unique.
Chinese lanterns come in all shapes and sizes and its one of the features that helps identify the surrounding landscape. Temples, taverns, inns, and administrative buildings are just a few of the buildings where you might find lanterns. We thought having a few different types including smooth and cut stone might help set off your battlefield and put the finishing touches on a truly great Chinese theme.
What would any village or town be without a gazebo and the Chinese architecture gives it a truly unique look. How many battle reports feature a last stand in the gazebo? Well, you could be talking about it for ages when you add this feature to your collection.
A video and picture of the walls we are designing. We are making 4" and 6" straight wall sections as well as corner pieces and what walled compound would be complete without a Moon Gate?
